Ethan (26 years) and Jess (27 years), have hired Coast-to-Coast Canada to plan the perfect day at Hopewell Rocks where they intend to both kayak and hike the ocean floor in one day. It is a quick weekend getaway, and they want no surprises. Any weekend in June would be fine.
Please plan the perfect experience which would incorporate both kayaking and hiking Hopewell Rocks in the same day.
Additional Notes:
Tide levels and weather conditions are necessary for both hiking and kayaking. Predictions based on tide charts using sinusoidal regressions may be required. We must have a true understanding of the tides of Hopewell Rocks in order to make predictions of when to hike and when to kayak.
Use your skills from either Math 30-1 and/or Math 30-2 to graph and analyse trigonometric functions, so this task should allow transfer of those skills to the context of this model.
